I have learned a lot of things since starting my wonderful journey through the crazy world of wedding photography. Some of these things include bringing tide to go, extra bobby pins, granola bars, and wearing comfortable shoes. During Cody and Ashley’s wedding I learned another important lesson: bring kleenex. There were so many beautiful moments and tears of joy that took place on their wedding day that will never be forgotten. I was seriously crying like a baby in the best possible way.
These two evidently laid eyes on each other at different times. Ashley first saw Cody at a graduation party and Cody first saw Ashley at a 4th of July picnic. Soon after meeting, they spent their first date eating yogurt. They spent 2 years in a long distant relationship which was very hard for them. In the end, it was all worth it when Cody got down on one knee in the middle of Millennium park on Valentine’s day to ask Ashley to spend forever with him. Obviously she said yes which led to the most beautiful wedding day. Their day started off with Ashley getting ready surrounded by the important ladies in her life while Cody was golfing with his groomsmen. Sweet letters and gifts were also exchanged as everyone was getting ready for the big moment. Their wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Ashley & Cody were surrounded by their family and friends as they promised each other a lifetime of happiness and love.
Cody & Ashley, I am so incredibly thankful to have gotten the chance to meet you both. All of our little coffee meetings and real talk about wedding planning was so wonderful. I hope you both had a beautiful time in Cancun for your honeymoon. You are both amazing and I am so happy for you two! We must schedule another coffee date soon!
A big thank you to the vendors who made this wedding so lovely!
